This has a feeling of the classic Mr. Bojangles track, something about it just made me think of that track. Drunk, you say? That explains the space at the end, Steven!  Still, polished a bit, it could be the next classic track!

like the guitar sound on this ..whats the fx i can hear ..sounds like a really fast wah wah pedal type thing ..sounds cool anyway ..cool vocals as well ..nice track

Reminds me of very very early Pink Floyd back when Syd was still with 'em.
I just adore the bubbling ambiance and the psychedelic approach.

Ever since you played this song to me that day in Sydney I have considered it to be your greatest ever song. I really like this version. I'm glad you've kept the mix simple as I think it's such a powerful song that it doesn't want or need any clutter to it. Great guitar tone, by the way. The vocals are a little...um, loose, at times, but I guess if you were drunk that would explain why. It's still an excellent version, though.

Very emotional song dude. That's what I've always admired about your work. Showing your raw emotions all the time. Takes guts to do that Very simple overall, but definitely works. Some of the best-ever tracks have been extremely simple. Wicked job dude.

I'm not quite sure how to put it...kind of chicken vs. egg question...do I want to say that this tune is a perfect vehicle for your delightfully odd, wonderfully expressive voice, or that your voice is a damn nigh perfect instrument for the delivery of these heartstring-tugging, easy-to-identify-with lyrics?
