Hi dear/ come near/ enough to hold me
Sweet child/your mine/I lucked out here

Let go and take a beautiful ride
Run wild at old riverside
I really lucked out here

Duck form/you throw/ birds jumping everywhere
Your smile/my heart melts a mile/I sure lucked out here

Let go and take a beautiful ride
As the sun set in the park here tonight
I really lucked out here

Lets go and take a beautiful ride
Where it leads us I’m sure we’ll be all right
With you I lucked out here

I got a streaming problem with this track, kept getting a strange noise so I downloaded it. The download is working just fine. Great lyrics and lovely sentiments! Kinda gives me the impression of a captured moment in the sunlight. Clapping

updated this. I took out a lot of the FX that made this a bit muddy in my opinion. Thanks to the above for listening to it though!!Cheers

This is such a beautifully sweet song. I know some people who can play a million guitar chords and do super fast solos and whatnot, but they wouldn't have a clue how to write a song as lovely as this. :) (Smile)

Beautiful.
I like songs that can maintain a simple but effective chord progression and then just change the vocal melody between sections to separate parts.
And the nice little guitar licks here and there are just right.

I really like the imagery that your lyrics capture. They're quite surreal and really create a picture in my head of a forgotten and imaginary time that I must have had as a child but have either blocked it out or build up walls around it so that I wouldn't be able to access this feeling.

My only critique is that there seems to be a rumbling secondary guitar that is slightly sharp and brings a frightening dissonance to what seems intended to be a nice song. If that's your intention, then so be it......but the dissonance really evokes an undercurrent of 'things not exactly what you thought them to be'......so maybe it's a good thing. Hell, I don't know....ha....Laughing My Arse Off

Nice track!!! You really have a great vocal melody on this one.
