I wrote this song for the 2 most important people in my life. They are Kristen and Jessica and without them I doubt I'd even be here today. I could have spent hours working on the words used in this song and written something that had more variety I guess but there is nothing that really expressed what I feel for these kids. This is just a tribute...lol

Lyrics go:
I could moan and anyone who knows me knows I can
But when I see my beautiful girls I know I'm a lucky man
Oh Kristen your smile is beautiful and your heart could heal the world
Oh Jessica you’re so darn clever and funny. Both my special girls

When I see my beautiful girls
I know why I was born
When I see my beautiful girls
I'm glad I loved your Mum
When I see my beautiful girls the future feels so bright.
When I see my beautiful girl
I just love my god darn life

Kristen and Jessica I hope you realise
Just how happy you have made me
Before I met you I just never really knew what was my meaning
I really do love you both and I know this will never change
Together or apart you always live in my heart every single day

Your harmonica playing isn't too bad, mate - a bit messy, but that's okay. You're certainly better at playing it than I am.

The lyrics and melody to this are really beautiful. Having met your girls I can confirm to DM that they are every bit as special as you make them out to be. I'm sure that this is the kind of thing they will listen to in 20-30 years from now and treasure. I hope this lovely song is going on your new CD.

I have updated this very slightly. Taken the harmonica on the intro out as its to much at that point. I am thinking maybe I should re-record the vocals....

Beautiful! Cloud 9 This is an amazing piece of work that the girls can look back on in many years time - there can be no doubt how you feel about them...and when they are grown up it will be great to have your love confirmed to them in this song. Clapping Clapping Clapping

Stephen, your girls are so lucky to have a Dad that loves them so much. This is beautiful! What a special gift to them. One that will last forever...just like the love from their Dad. On a musical take, I love that this is so lighthearted in it's sound but has quite the deep message. That's a lovely contrast and perfect for this song. Well done!

Groovin This is a great song bro. I could almost start cryin' like a lil bitch. I like the harmonica / guitar deal too. How'd I miss this one?
