I have haven’t got a foggy
No I haven’t go a clue
Why the hell I made the choice to stick along with you
I used to think that you were
so down to earth
But Settle down
Don’t you see your feet are not touching the ground
Numb Numb
you lost control
But now you had a taste of glory.
Your ego’s given birth
You will only make love to good looking creatures
On this god forsaken earth
I want to shake you up
Cause you have lost control

Cool song Steve.
Signature Steven Davies sound. I think part of it is your voice and part is the sound you get with the way you mix/produce your vocals.
I especially like the chorus.
Also the part at the end where you have the overlapping vocals.
Saving this to my HD

Omg, Steven, someday I'd love to just sit down and talk with you, or listen to you talk. Your writing is so stream-of-consciousness, you always seem to be leading me one way, then you go off somewhere else... I don't know where! But that's a big part of the charm is that I never know what the hell you are going to do.

Brilliant lyrics - I can so relate to this one! I think you've captured the way I feel about a number of people I've met in the past - and you convey the feelings brilliantly in the performance - such emotion with a hint of bitterness. Great guitar, love the progressions. Fantastic!

Wow, what an absolutely fantastic collaboration.
The acoustic guitar has a really cool rich tone and is played perfectly and effortlessly.
The vocal melody fits exquisitely and the reverb level is ideal.
Outstanding job!!!

I like the acoustic and the songwriting is cool like always. I can't understand the lyrics because I have zero control myself. Only my darlin' wife cleans up my messes and keeps me outta jail. But I digress. The song... I wish it were longer. LOL "wish it were longer" - that's a line I never hear. But I digress...

Wow just...wholie shit! I fvcking love this!
The vocals have an almost Neil Young remindance to me...but then...very different. Mostly the "OOOOO" part.
This has a great kind of Folk and erie contentedness to it. Just brilliant.

Great acoustic sound and the lyrics are really appealing. It's a nice song, from your vocals you sound like you don't know what else to do, a last resort, to shake. Are you okay steven?

gee mate if this doesn't have elements of early Bowie I'll eat my hat. I wish I could be so honest in my songwriting and performance....you dont hide behind walls of sound ...I love you Man !!

Yeah I picked up on the Bowie-ness of the song too, not a bad thing at all. Even though you may remind me of him, when you hear this song there is only one person (ie, YOU) who could be performing it.
You have such a talent for baring your soul in your lyrics and coupled with Simon's music this all adds up to one hell of a tune.

Yeah it's great reminds me a lot of late 60's CSNY type stuff with early Bowie but great sounds mate. Like all the openness in the guitar part too, lots of nice tone and resonance. Sounds really full for a solo guitar and vocal, great mixing !

Lot's of emotions come through. You and Simon brought your talents together quite nicely. It has a holistic feel to it and I would never have suspected that it was written in a piecemeal way. The end result feels so organic that one would assume that the two artists were in the same room working on the piece the whole time.
