Lyrics by Engine 11. Music by Mojo. Vocal by C Shovel.
Goodbye for now my beautiful
Your eyes don’t frighten me
When you like somebody
Living in a movie
Feel how love files
Through the stars in you eyes.
When you love somebody
Eyes they don’t frighten me
No eyes don’t frighten me
Your walking on that Pavement
Glide in 3d Screen
When life’s a video
Your eyes don’t frighten me
Living in a movie
Everything is gone on wing
Susie you know I love you
Your eyes don’t frighten me
No
Your eyes don’t frighten me
Take you arms brother
With a fervent heat
War drums are beatin
Man they don’t frighten me
And god of heaven
Comes down like lighning
Live’s like a video
So it don’t frighten me
I love Rodrica Rudge
On the midnight train
Then it all came crashing down
Shit that does frighten me
Arms wrapped round in a huddle
Far from all the hate
Warmed up the pc
Its don’t frighten me
That’s not where my hearts at
all backstabbing critics
I am a fashion whore
But that don’t frighten me
Go Indie for America
Go Mr R Deny
I thank you for your words
And that don’t frighten me
Don’t take the bonus
I have beauty
Climb to the top of the heap
Man that frightens me
Take it away Mojo

This is so cool!
I like the twist you do here, a twist on classic blues. I really like the vocals too, they're really good, especially with the slapback echo (if that's what it is). I love the guitar so much, and the chorus, and everything!!

I'm not really a fan of electric blues, but this is pretty cool. Steve, at first I didn't think it was you singing. You sound different somehow. I like the looseness of this - and the whistle after "I love Rodrica Rudge" is a nice touch. My favourite parts are the "frightens me" bits, where S.D. mimicks the slide guitar (or is it the other way around?).

Wow, this is way cool. The guitar playing is loose and totally jamming.
Sounds like I'm standing in the Louisiana Bajou listening to a rendition of 'When The Levee Breaks' being performed by a salty delta blues master.
The vocals sound almost like an improvisation, as if you were randomly pulled from the audience and a microphone was handed to you unexpectedly. But you pull off the vocal role brilliantly and by the end you have the audience in the palm of your hand.
Outstanding track.....More....More....More....Encore!

Avant-garde Acid Rock Blues This is reaaaaly wild the vox are like the lead singer from The Rocky Horror Picture Show that don't scare me That blue steel slide is twangin' like RL Burnside that don't scare me I like the combination of raw blues with a tongue in cheek delivery. To me that's what the cover contest is all about. Great collab Steve and Mojo and thanks for liking my stuff

wow! i think there may be more lyrics here than there are in the whole of the FAWM tracks put together
Very tappy-footy track. Nice guitar sound. The high frequency in the delay on the vocals distracted me, but your singing was a surprise and kind of nice to hear as you don't usually sing in such a fast pace. haha nice whistle

RL Burnside, cool comparison there, Yeah, the vox doubling the guitar part is kinda old school, this kinda has an off the cuff rawness which I sort of relate with stuff like Plastic Ono Band. I can't help but notice how many of the covers I've heard so far are compilation/medleys. Jung would be proud. Nice job

this is a great blues/rock track.
slide gtr is xlnt and the vox do have a John Lennon/Bob Dylan character to them IMHO which is great...

Good ASS this song rips!
It actually reminds me of a big chunk of the Fat Possum catalogue - RL Burnside included.
Slick slide guitar. It's the perfect tone for the song - like a pencil in the ear.
Steve, godammit, I've said it before, but I fucking love your voice.
Fantastic collab, fantastic cover, fan-fucking-tasty.
